Teddy Bear

My teddy bear is so soft and brown,
Always smiling, he never frowns
I call my Teddy Mr. Fluff,
As he is covered in fur and with cotton stuffed!

The Swing

Creak-creak came the sound,
As my papa pushed the swing around…
Higher, higher, up, up I cried,
To reach the sky as I tried...
Hair flying, legs in air,
Through the wind I felt my swing tear…
And soon as my swing slowed down
I jumped with a thump to the ground!

The Birthday Cake

Dark brown chocolate; white, white cream
The birthday cake is as sweet as a dream!
Sugar icing and a cherry on top
To eat the cake how the children hop!
So stand around, sing the birthday song
Make a wish; blow the candle with a puff strong!
Oh so yum is the birthday cake
But don’t eat too much or you’ll get a tummy ache!

The Garden

The green, green grass looked so fresh
Little boys in blue and girls in pink dress
They ran and played merry-go-round
Laughing, smiling, making a sound
On the slides the kids went swoosh!
And played hide-and-seek under the bush
The swings happily went creak-creak
And a child looked at a parrot’s red beak!
Some made castles in the sand
And some played holding mama’s hand
When night came they walked back
Tired and thirsty, wanting fresh snacks!
